Our Logistics Management System, built to handle the complexity of food distribution operations, brings cold chain management, route optimization, delivery tracking and temperature monitoring together on one platform.

In food distribution, route optimization manages three things at once: on the cost side, distance, fuel and the energy the refrigeration unit consumes; on the time side, goods-in windows and the product's remaining shelf life; on the equipment side, how much of the chilled, frozen and ambient compartments is actually used. A shorter route cuts not just fuel but the time spent refrigerating.

The solution digitizes distribution processes end to end, so every delivery record becomes traceable for product quality and food safety.

Compartment and Capacity Fit

Vehicle capacity is assessed together with the chilled, frozen and ambient compartments, so products needing different temperatures travel in separate compartments on the same trip.

Unplanned sequence compared with the optimized sequence The same depot and eight delivery points are shown in two panels. In the left panel the sequence follows the order in which the orders came in, so the route crosses itself twice: 186 kilometers in total, the refrigeration unit runs for 6 hours 10 minutes, and only 78 percent of deliveries land inside the goods-in window. In the right panel the sequence is optimized against shelf life and the goods-in window and completes as a single loop: 152 kilometers in total, refrigeration runs for 4 hours 55 minutes, and window compliance rises to 97 percent. DIAGRAM · ONE DELIVERY LIST, TWO DIFFERENT SEQUENCES The depot, the stops and the product quantities are identical in both panels; the only thing that changes is the visiting order. In the unplanned sequence the route crosses itself (marked with red crosses), and the refrigeration unit keeps running for as long as the vehicle is on the road. In the optimized sequence, short-shelf-life products go first and the points with a defined goods-in window are completed in a single pass. 03 · EQUIPMENT

Refrigerated vehicle and compartment use

Compartment capacity for chilled, frozen and ambient goods is planned together, reducing both empty refrigerated volume and the number of half-loaded trips.

THE CONSTRAINTS THE OPTIMIZER TAKES INTO ACCOUNT
  • Goods-in window: Each site's goods-in hours are defined as a constraint, so any sequence that falls outside the window is eliminated at the planning stage.
  • Shelf life and product priority: Products with the least shelf life left are moved to the front of the sequence, so nothing loses value while it waits.
  • Temperature compartment fit: When chilled, frozen and ambient goods travel on the same trip, each compartment's capacity is calculated separately.
  • Door-opening discipline: The sequence groups deliveries in the same area together, so the door opens less often and the internal temperature fluctuates less.
  • Traffic and road conditions: Live traffic data affects route duration, so at peak times the same distance is planned in a different order.
  • Driver hours: Trip duration, breaks and maximum driving time are all taken into account, keeping the plan compliant.
04 COLD CHAIN

The cold chain across three critical stages

Temperature is measured, verified and logged at every stage from the warehouse to the store cabinet, so the cold chain is never broken at any point.

Multiple sensors measure temperatures in different zones of the warehouse, and the average of those readings verifies the temperature at dispatch.

In-Vehicle Transport

Sensors placed at different points track the average temperature throughout transport, and the system raises an immediate warning on any deviation.

Delivery Point

The temperature of the store cabinet is measured to record that products were delivered in the right conditions, safeguarding product quality and food safety.

Cloud camera system: reach it from anywhere

The Cloud Camera System streams footage from every vehicle in your food distribution fleet to the central management platform over cloud infrastructure in real time. Live and recorded footage can be reached from anywhere with an internet connection, so the flow of information between the field and the center never breaks.

By making footage from the moment of an incident available for review, the system lets disputes and damage claims be handled faster and more effectively. Managers can take quick, evidence-based decisions on operational problems using the visual record.
